Phonurgia Nova Awards 2021

The Phonurgia Nova Awards 2021 will be held on October 2, at the end of a listening marathon of almost 18 hours that will take place first at the Centre Wallonie-Bruxelles and then at the BnF – Bibliothèque Nationale de France’s François Mitterrand in Paris.

Once again, this immersion into the most creative international waves is an invitation to travel with your ears. 256 productions have been received this year, submitted from across 21 countries. The 38 finalists will be part of an intense 2-day program of listening and discussion. It is a planetary panorama that stretches from Europe to the USA, from Japan to South America. Undoubtedly one of the most unique radio competitions in Europe, both because of the variety of authors who contribute to it, and because of the vast creative spectrum represented. Once again it offers a curated international programme gathering works by internationally renowned artists, along with works by young artists, heard for the first time in Paris.
