We are proud to announce that the jury of the Phonurgia Nova Awards 2019 will be chaired by a duo of artists: Anne Gillot + Alessandro Bosetti
Soloist with numerous concerts in Switzerland and abroad, Anne Gillot is also a producer for Radio Suisse RTS and is passionate about sound art. In this jury, she will also represent the group “Ars Acustica” of the UER/EBU (Euroradio), partner of the Festival. Composer and sound artist Alessandro Bosetti has made radio his privileged space of creation. Born in Milan in 1973, he is since 2000 a major figure of the Ars Acustica world. His work, based on the musicality of voice, language and languages, explores the boundary between spoken language and music. He was awarded the Phonurgia Nova Prize in 2012. Each year in Arles, he conducts a “Master-class” on radio performance as part of Phonurgia Nova’s summer workshops. More info http://phonurgia.fr/en/
