While presenting multiple examples taken from the recent radio art production, Alessandro Bosetti will enter the fabric of sound ideas: genesis, creative process, games and systems, writing, production. He will move towards broader questions: how to move from concepts to realization, how to transpose an abstract idea into a sound reality, how to organize ideas, materials and techniques? Which aesthetic categories? How to involve radios and producers?
A laboratory of ideas and a place of reflection on the new aesthetics of sound, this workshop aims to broaden the notion of creative radio by allowing everyone, whether a beginner or an advanced author, to advance his personal practice. Its objective is also to give everyone a key in order to understand a rapidly changing professional landscape in which soundworks are not only commissioned by public radio but also by new aubjects (museums, festivals, theaters, archives, cities. ..)
This “Master Class” is open to sound artists, beginners or advanced radio authors, wrtiers and filmakers willing to engage with sound creation and to all those interested in the unconventional approaches to radio. Registration to the next session : info@phonurgia.org
