Call for entries 2026
We are pleased to announce the 30th edition of the phonurgia nova awards.
5 prizes (Sound art, Fiction, Documentary, Field recording, Pierre Schaeffer discoveries) will be awarded to works chosen for their expressive qualities, the richness of their sound language, the originality of their approach. As usual since 2011, a composite jury of creators and critics will share their audience in public during sessions open to all.
The listening public days will be held in two times
– on September 25 and 26, in the lands of Yann Paranthoën in Brittany, where we will be hosted by the creative studio Le Logelloù (Penvenan), for an immersion in the works in competition for the Documentary and Field recording Awards.
– on November 12, 13 and 14, in Marseille, at the GMEM Centre national de création musicale, at the Friche Belle de Mai, for an exploration of works competing for the Awards for sound art, fiction and for the Prix Découvertes Pierre Schaeffer.
The phonurgia nova awards also offer creative studio residencies in Arles, Marseille, Paris, Noirlac or in Quebec, ideal for starting or concluding projects that “push listening further”. In 2025, we allocated 17 residences, including 6 funded by SACEM, GMEM, AVATAR and Phonurgia Nova to the tune of €2000 and more.
Your registrations are expected until 15 June midnight here
