Sixty seconds to convince

We are proud to contribute this year again to the organization of the 60 Second Radio contest. The competition once again invites radio and sound artists to produce radio clips exactly 60 seconds long. The entry deadline is Sunday, April 15, 23:59 GMT. The contest is managed by the radio producer Boris Chassagne in Montréal, with the help of the Canadian Commission For UNESCO (CCUNESCO) in Ottawa, Phonurgia Nova and the Motion Picture Arles (MOPA) School in France, and the Avatar audio and electronic arts centre in Québec City. 60 Second Radio is open to all schools of radiophonic expressions. Originality, innovation and artistic creativity remain the basic yardsticks that will guide the juries!  • First prize: Phonurgia Nova & MOPA studio residency in Arles France + $1000 CAD + €15/day living allowance. / • Second prize: $750 CAD / • Third prize: $500 CAD.
